Christian Fiction Research Project

Welcome! I’m Brian Haggard, a Sociology PhD student at Cornell University, and I am conducting research on the Christian Fiction community.

Christian Fiction is a significant but understudied movement in American Christianity. This research examines how Christian Fiction authors, readers, and industry professionals understand their relationship with this literary community and its role in their faith and cultural participation. My goal is to provide academic recognition for this important cultural movement and to understand how religious communities engage with broader American society through creative expression.
